Extended Peripherals

ATP Core offers the possibility to monitor the status of a peripheral that doesn't have a driver in the Pakage Library. To be able to do this you need to to create an "extendedperipheralserviceapp" that will communicate with the peripheral, get it's status periodically, send it to the ATP Core and then be propagated through the entire ATP Platform.

When you want to create a extended peripheral application be sure to select correctly the application type in the Developer Platform. For other information regarding ATP applications development please consult Developer Resources.

The extended peripheral service application will report the status of the peripheral following a specific structure.

After the application sends the updated status a user will be able to see it right away in the ATP Admin and in 5 minutes in the ATP Market (like you see in the images bellow)
